Energy Upgrade California

Experiential Marketing for good causes!

I have worked an a variety of Experiential events for Energy Upgrade California over the past 5 years, starting with the initial roll-out of the program in 2011. Energy Upgrade California is a state initiative to teach the residents of California how to save water and energy. There are multiple marketing channels that include sponsorship, outreach tours, experiential, retail, community organizations, youth, PR, and advertising campaigns.

Mobile Education and Outreach Tour, Statewide California

This is a current project! I’m managing two touring units that cover California from San Diego to San Francisco. In 2016 we will be on the road for 6 months, exhibiting at malls, museums, and county fairs all over our great state.  The exhibit features video, interactive games, and social sharing integration.

Energy Upgrade California Roadshow

In 2011 the State of California launched the first version of Energy Upgrade California. At this point it was strictly a Home Upgrade promotion aimed at doing two things 1) jump starting the construction industry in California after a blistering recession and 2) helping to bring older housing built prior to Title 24 standards up to current energy efficiency standards – saving Californians money and making their homes more comfortable.

This program toured Los Angeles County for about 8 months, going literally everywhere.
